Professional background
Dr. Ottensmeyer grew up in Hamburg and studied veterinary medicine at the Veterinary School in Hanover, graduating in 1991.
After his time as an assistant in Dr. Wolfgang Fischer's small animal practice in Hamburg, he worked independently as a substitute veterinarian in various practices in Hamburg, Bremen and Flensburg. Since 2003, he has had his own practice at Mühlenkamp 21 a.

Training courses
For many years, Dr. Ottensmeyer has been a member of the following societies: 

• DVG (German Veterinary Medical Society)

• BpT (Federal Association of Practicing Veterinarians)

• isfm (International Society of Feline Medicine)

Their scientific publications and participation in conferences and training courses ensure that they maintain up-to-date knowledge.
